FOX has today renewed its original drama series Gotham for a fifth and final season, it was announced today. The season will more than likely be held for midseason and feature only 13 episodes, which would bring the drama to the 100 episode milestone.
The drama stars Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, David Mazouz, Morena Baccarin, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor, Erin Richards, Camren Bicondova, Cory Michael Smith, Jessica Lucas, Chris Chalk, Drew Powell, Crystal Reed and Alexander Siddig.
Bruno Heller created the drama. He executive produces with Danny Cannon, John Stephens and Ken Woodruff. Warner Bros. Television, DC Entertainment and Primrose Hill Productions produce.
Per the producers: "The fifth and final season will wrap up this unique origin story of the great DC Comics Super-villains and vigilantes, which revealed an entirely new chapter that has never been told."
