Amazon has given a series order to the original drama series Tales From the Loop based on the artwork by Simon Stalenhag. The first season will include eight episodes.
The drama explores the town and people who live above "The Loop," a machine built to unlock and explore the mysteries of he universe - making things possible that were previously relegated only to science fiction. In this fantastical, mysterious town, poignant human tales are told that bare universal emotional experiences while drawing on the intrigue of genre storytelling.
Nathaniel Halpern (Legion) developed the series. He executive produces with Matt Reeves, Adam Kassan, Rafi Crohn, Mattias Montero, Johan Lindström, Samantha Taylor Pickett and director Mark Romanek. Fox 21 Television Studios, Amazon Studios, 6th & Idaho Productions and Indio will produce.
