Casting News - Brent Spiner to Play the Vice President on The CW's 'Supergirl'; Ryan Hurst Joins 'Bosch'; Plus 3 More Updates!

Amazon's Bosch; Apple's See; and The CW's Legacies, Roswell New Mexico & Supergirl.





AMAZON's BOSCH
  • Ryan Hurst has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming fifth season. He starred for five seasons in FX's Sons of Anarchy, two seasons in WGN America's Outsiders and had a recurring role on A&E's Bates Motel.
  • He will play Hector Bonner, a former client of attorney Honey Chandler (Mimi Rogers), who is currently working as her investigator.
THE CW's SUPERGIRL
  • Brent Spiner has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fourth season. He is best known for playing Data in seven seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation and in four Star Trek movies. He currently stars in Cinemax's Outcast.
  • He will play Baker, the Vice President of the United States, an unlikely leader who will nonetheless step up in a big way when his country needs him.
THE CW's ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO
  • Riley Voelkel has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Jeanine Mason and Nathan Parsons. Her casting comes after a four-season starring role on The CW's The Originals.
  • She will play Cameron, Max's (Parsons) quick-witted partner at the Sheriff's Department who has the rare ability to break through his stony cowboy facade. Scrappy, sexy and cool, she is difficult to rattle and prides herself on her realistic outlook.
APPLE's SEE
  • Yadira Guevara-Prip and Nesta Cooper will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard. Guevara-Prip has been recurring on The CW's Supernatural. Cooper has starred for two seasons in Netflix's Travelers.
  • Guevara-Prip will play Bow Lion, a young warrior.
  • Cooper will play Haniwa, a proud and determined young daughter.
THE CW's LEGACIES
  • Peyton Alex Smith has landed a series regular role on the upcoming drama starring Danielle Rose Russell and Matthew Davis. He starred for two seasons in BET's The Quad.
  • He will play Rafael, a dangerously charismatic and newly-triggered werewolf. With a combination of a pure and loyal heart mixed with a lifetime of abuse and anger, he wants to be a good person but lives in a constant struggle with the emotional demons that have plagued him through a difficult childhood.
