Casting News - 'Billions' Promotes Kelly AuCoin to Series Regular; JuJu Chan Joins 'Wu Assassins'; Plus 5 More Updates!

BBC America's Killing Eve; CBS' The Code & SEAL Team; Netflix's Wu Assassins; Showtime's Billions; Starz's Vida; and TNT's Snowpiercer.





STARZ's VIDA
  • Raúl Castillo and Adrian Gonzalez have been cast in recurring roles on the drama's upcoming second season. Castillo starred for two seasons in HBO's Looking and in the Netflix limited series Seven Seconds. Gonzalez's guest credits include ABC Family's Kevin From Work, NBC's Superstore and Showtime's The Affair.
  • Castillo will play Baco, the bar's new handyman with a questionable past.
  • Gonzalez will play Rudy, a Los Angeles city councilman who Lyn (Melissa Barrera) meets at a gym class.
SHOWTIME's BILLIONS
  • Kelly AuCoin has been promoted to series regular for the drama's upcoming fourth season. He has recurred throughout the first three seasons of the drama - appearing in 30 episodes. He also notably had a recurring role on FX's The Americans.
  • He plays "Dollar" Bill Stearn, a loyal Axe Capital employee.
NETFLIX's WU ASSASSINS
  • JuJu Chan and Mark Dacascos have booked recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Iko Uwais. Chan starred in the Netflix film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny. Dacascos has previously recurred on CBS' Hawaii Five-0 and ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
  • Chan will play Zan, a lieutenant in the Triads and an elite martial artist. She is the bodyguard and sole confidant to Uncle Six (Byron Mann).
  • Dacascos will play an extremely fit and strong monk who can take down any evil force that comes his way.
CBS' SEAL TEAM
  • Judd Lormand has been promoted to series regular for the drama's upcoming second season. He heavily recurred throughout the first season of the drama - appearing in every episode. 
  • He plays Lieutenant Commander Eric Blackburn, the SEAL Team troop commander who coordinates operations whenever Bravo team is on mission and serves as the team's leader and confidant, both on and off the battlefield.
BBC AMERICA's KILLING EVE
  • Nina Sosanya and Edward Bluemel have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. They join returning stars Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw. Furthermore, Julian Barratt will guest star in the new season. Sosanya stars in Amazon's upcoming limited series Good Omens. Bluemel stars in Sky One's upcoming drama A Discovery of Witches. Barratt starred for two seasons in Channel 4's Flowers.
  • No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing.
TNT's SNOWPIERCER
  • Jaylin Fletcher is set as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs. He has starred in the films The Female Brain and Lifetime's A Very Merry Toy Store.
  • He will play Miles, one of the few children in the tail end of the train. Whip smart and talented, he has the intelligence to potentially move up the train if he can get a coveted apprenticeship.
CBS' THE CODE
  • Luke Mitchell will play the male lead on the upcoming drama starring Anna Wood and Phillipa Soo. He starred for one season in The CW's The Tomorrow People, two seasons in ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and two seasons in NBC's Blindspot.
  • He will play Captain John "Abe" Abraham. Operating out of Judge Advocate General Headquarters in Quantico, he is a driven prosecutor for whom becoming a Marine is a longstanding family tradition and a responsibility he treats with devotion and passion. He replaces Dave Annable, who played the role in the original pilot.
