- Sandrine Holt has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming 20th season. She has previously recurred on Showtime's Homeland, ABC's The Crossing, USA's Mr. Robot, AMC's Fear the Walking Dead and Netflix's House of Cards.
- She will play Lisa Abernathy, a clinical psychologist who consults on cases for the Manhattan district attorney's office. She also has a wife and two children.

- Mary J. Blige has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming third season. The singer has won nine Grammy Awards from 31 nominations. She was nominated for two Academy Awards for the film Mudbound earlier this year - for Best Supporting Actress and Best Original Song. She next appears as a series regular on Netflix's The Umbrella Academy.
- She will play Sherry Elliot, the mother of Deion Elliot (RJ Cyler).
