Netflix Orders 10 Episodes of Drama 'What/If' Starring Renée Zellweger

Netflix has today given a series order to the original drama series What/If starring Academy Award winner Renée Zellweger (Cold Mountain, Bridget Jone's Diary, Chicago). The first season will feature 10 episodes, which will likely debut in 2019.

The series is a social thriller that explores the ripple effects of what happens when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things. Each season will tackle a different morality tale inspired by culturally consequential source material, and the power of a single fateful decision to change the trajectory of an entire life.

Zellweger will star as Anne. Additional details about the character and her story for the first season are being kept under wraps.

Mike Kelley (Revenge) created the drama. He will executive produce with Robert Zemeckis, Melissa Loy, Alex Garnter, Charles Roven and Jack Rapke. Jackie Levine will co-executive produce. Warner Bros. Television, Page Fright Productions, Atlas Entertainment and Compari Entertainment will produce.
