TNT Orders 'The Alienist' Sequel Series Entitled 'The Angel of Darkness'

TNT has today officially ordered a sequel series to the successful limited series The Alienist entitled The Angel of Darkness. The new limited series will see Daniel Brühl, Luke Evans and Dakota Fanning returning to the roles.






Based on the followup novel of the same name by Caleb Carr, The Angel of Darkness will take place a year after the events of The Alienist and focuses on the disappearance of a Spanish diplomat's daughter.

The new series is a co-production with Studio T, Paramount Television and Anonymous Content. Eric Roth, Steve Golin, Rosalie Swedlin and Cary Joji Fukunaga will serve as executive producers.
