Disney Streaming Service Orders 10 Episodes of 'High Fidelity' Starring Zoë Kravitz

Disney's forthcoming streaming service has today given a series order to a reboot of High Fidelity based on the 2000 film and the novel by Nick Hornsby. Zoë Kravitz (Big Little Lies, Fantastic Beasts) will play the lead role in the series.

The series is a reimagining of the film and book told from the female point of view. Kravitz will star as the ultimate music fan and record store owner who is obsessed with pop culture and top five lists.

Veronica West and Sarah Kucserka created the series adaptation. They will executive produce with Kravitz, Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. Midnight Radio will produce.

The Disney streaming service is set to launch in late 2019. The reboot of High Fidelity is the first series to get an official production greenlight - with several other contenders remaining in development.
