Showtime Announces Premiere Date for 'Black Monday' Starring Don Cheadle and Andrew Rannells

Showtime has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original comedy series Black Monday starring Don Cheadle and Andrew Rannells.

The 10-episode first season will begin on Sunday, January 20 at 10/9c.

The comedy takes viewers back to October 19, 1987 - aka Black Monday, the day of the worst stock market crash in the history of Wall Street. To this day, no one knows who caused it - until now. It's the story of how a group of outsiders took on the blue-blood, old-boys club of Wall Street and ended up crashing the world's largest financial system, a Lamborghini limousine, Don Henley's birthday party and the glass ceiling.

In addition to Cheadle and Rannells, the comedy stars Regina Hall, Paul Scheer, Yassir Lester, Michael James Scott and Eugene Cordero.

Guest stars in the first season include Casey Wilson, Ken Marino, Melissa Rauch, Horatio Sanz, Julie Hagerty, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Tim Russ, Jason Michael Snow, Kadeem Hardison and Bruce Dern.

David Caspe and Jordan Cahan created the series. They executive produce with directors Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Sony Pictures Television produces.
