Comedy Central has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming fifth and final season of the original comedy series Broad City.
The 10-episode fifth and final season will premiere on Thursday, January 24 at 10/9c.
Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson co-created and star in the comedy. They executive produce with Amy Poehler, Dave Becky, Tony Hernandez and Samantha Saifer. Jax Media, Paper Kite Productions and 3 Arts Entertainment produce.
Even though Broad City is ending, Glazer and Jacobson are staying in business with Comedy Central through a new development deal. Under the pact, the cable network will have first look access to all content created for television by Glazer and Jacobson both together and independently.
