ABC has today given additional episode orders to a pair of comedy series - The Kids Are Alright and Splitting Up Together. The broadcast network has ordered nine more episodes of The Kids Are Alright and five more episodes of Splitting Up Together - bringing their totals to 22 and 18 episodes, respectively.
The Kids Are Alright stars Mary McCormack, Jack Gore, Sam Straley, Caleb Foote, Sawyer Barth, Christopher Paul Richards, Andy Walken, Santino Barnard and Michael Cudlitz.
Tim Doyle created the comedy. He executive produces with director Randall Einhorn. ABC Studios and Mr. Bigshot Fancy-Pants Productions produce.
Splitting Up Together stars Jenna Fischer, Oliver Hudson, Bobby Lee, Diane Farr, Lindsay Price, Olivia Keville, Van Crosby and Sander Thomas.
Emily Kapnek created the comedy. She executive produces with Ellen DeGeneres, Jeff Kleeman, Dean Holland, Hella Joof, Mie Andreasen and Mette Heeno. Warner Bros. Television, A Very Good Productions and Piece of Pie Productions produce.
The two comedies join The Conners, The Rookie, Single Parents, A Million Little Things and Station 19 in getting additional episode orders this fall.
