CBS Sets Premiere Dates for Comedies 'Fam' and 'Man With a Plan'

Just a day after setting premiere dates for its unscripted lineup, CBS has today announced premiere dates for two of its original comedy series - new show Fam and the third season of Man With a Plan.

Furthermore, the broadcast network confirmed today that the Murphy Brown revival and new comedy Happy Together will be capping their respective seasons at 13 episodes. That was always the plan for the new season of Murphy Brown. Both shows remain in contention for renewal for the 2019-20 season.

New comedy Fam will take over Murphy Brown's time slot on Thursday, January 10 at 9:30/8:30c.

The comedy stars Nina Dobrev, Tone Bell, Odessa Adlon, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Brian Stokes Mitchell.

Corinne Kingsbury created the comedy. She serves as the sole showrunner following the firing of Bob Kushnell for inappropriate language in the workplace. Kingsbury executive produces with Aaron Kaplan, Wendi Trilling, Dana Honor, Joe Port and Joe Wiseman. CBS Television Studios and Kapital Entertainment produce.

The third season of Man With a Plan will replace Happy Together starting on Monday, February 4 at 8:30/7:30c.

The comedy stars Matt LeBlanc, Liza Snyder, Grace Kaufman, Hala Finley, Matthew McCann, Matt Cook, Kali Rocha, Kevin Nealon and Stacy Keach.

Jeff and Jackie Filgo created the comedy. They executive produce with LeBlanc, Michael Rotenberg and Troy Zien. CBS Television Studios, 3 Arts Entertainment and Double Double Bonus Entertainment produce.
