
The renewal comes just days after the December 14 launch of the first season holiday special. The streaming service previously revealed that the remaining nine episodes of Part 2 will debut on Friday, April 5.
The drama stars Kiernan Shipka, Ross Lynch, Lucy Davis, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez, Jaz Sinclair, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Richard Coyle and Miranda Otto.
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa developed the drama based on the Archie Comics characters. He executive produces with Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Jon Goldwater and Lee Toland Krieger. Warner Bros. Television and Berlanti Productions produce.
