Development News - Fabien Frankel to Play Andy Sipowicz's Son in ABC's 'NYPD Blue' Sequel Pilot; Plus 1 More Update!

  • Fabien Frankel has been cast in the lead role on the drama pilot sequel written by Matt Olmstead and Nick Wootton. The British newcomer is a recent LAMDA graduate. He is currently shooting the film Last Christmas opposite Emilia Clarke.
  • He will play Theo Sipowicz, the son of Detective Andy Sipowicz (Dennis Franz from the original series), who tries to earn his detective shield and work in the 15th squad while investigating his father's murder. Theo seems to have taken after his father as he too is a hard-drinking, hard-headed and quick-witted cop.
  • LINCOLN (Drama) - Written by VJ Boyd and Mark Bianculli. Executive produced by Boyd, Bianculli, Avi Nir, Alon Shtruzman, Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan. Produced by Universal Television and Sony Pictures Television.
