ABC's New York Undercover, Untitled Hannah Simone & Woman Up; CBS' Frankenstein; The CW's Glamorous & Katy Keene; FOX's Untitled Annie Weisman; HBO's Avenue 5; and NBC's Council of Dads & Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist.



NBC's COUNCIL OF DADS
  • Clive Standen has been cast on the drama pilot starring Sarah Wayne Callies. He previously starred for four seasons in History's Vikings and two seasons in NBC's Taken.
  • He will play Anthony Lavelle, one of Scott's oldest friends. He is a chef who wears his heart on his sleeve.
CBS' FRANKENSTEIN
  • Saidah Arrika Ekulona will co-star on the drama pilot written by Jason Tracey. Moreover, Uta Briesewitz has signed on to direct and executive produce the pilot. Ekulona has previously recurred on TV Land's Impastor, CBS' Kevin Can Wait and CBS' Bull.
  • She will play Captain Mills, Escher's boss with the San Francisco Police Department. Like his other friends and family, she's stunned when he returns six months after he was presumed dead in an attack at his home. 
HBO's AVENUE 5
  • Lenora Crichlow is set as a series regular on the comedy pilot starring Hugh Laurie. She previously starred for four seasons in BBC Three's Being Human and one season in ABC's Deception.
  • She will play Billie McEvoy, the second engineer. Young, outspoken, smart and career-focused but exhausted by responsibility, she loves building and fixing things but is terrified of dying in space.
FOX's UNTITLED ANNIE WEISMAN PROJECT
  • Megalyn Echikunwoke has joined the cast of the drama pilot starring Brittany Snow. She voices the title character on the DC animated series Vixen. She has also starred in the one-season dramas Made in Jersey on CBS, Mind Games on ABC and Damien on A&E. She stars in the upcoming film Late Night opposite Mindy Kaling and Emma Thompson.
  • She will play Edie, Julia's (Snow) newly-discovered half-sister. She is a successful criminal defense attorney who is partners in both work and life with her husband. Despite her desire for stability, she's dissatisfied with her marriage and can't seem to scratch the itch.
NBC's ZOEY's EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST
  • Mary Steenburgen has booked a series regular role on the musical dramedy pilot starring Jane Levy. She won an Academy Award for her performance in the 1980 film Melvin and Howard. She previously starred for four seasons in FOX's The Last Man on Earth. She has also had recurring roles on FX's Justified, Netflix's Orange Is the New Black and HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm.
  • She will play Maggie, Zoey's (Levy) mother. She is trying to put her best foot forward and keep her family intact.
THE CW's GLAMOROUS
  • Ben J. Pierce will play the lead role on the drama pilot written by Jordon Nardino. Pierson Fodé has also been cast in the pilot today. Pierce's guest credits include Netflix's Fuller House and NBC's Reverie. Fodé starred in CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful for two years.
  • Pierce will play Marco, an ambitious and creative gender non-conforming teenager who uses makeup and fashion to let his queer self bloom. Fresh off his high school graduation, his life changes when an unplanned rant on YouTube bashing a cosmetics company for their shoddy products lands him a dream internship at the side of its founder and CEO, Madolyn (Brooke Shields). On his own for the first time, this is Marco's chance to live, love and grow to understand what it really means to be queer.
  • Fodé will play Chad, an ambitious alpha male who works at the cosmetics company his mother Madolyn founded who styles himself as her heir apparent. While openly gay, he is buttoned down and unsophisticated, with a personality and wardrobe that would be more at home on Wall Street than the beauty industry.
ABC's NEW YORK UNDERCOVER
  • Luna Lauren Velez will reprise her role from the original series on the pilot reboot written by Ben Watkins. She starred for three seasons in the drama's original run during the 1990s. She joins Malik Yoba in reprising their roles for the new pilot. Additionally, she starred for seven seasons in Showtime's Dexter and had a voice role in the recent Academy Award-winning film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
  • She plays Nina Moreno, a retired detective who still has ties to her old unit which is now overseen by J.C. Williams (Yoba).
ABC's WOMAN UP
  • Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Tawny Newsome, Kym Whitley, Gabrielle Elyse and Abby Quinn will star in the comedy pilot from writer-director Zoe Lister-Jones. Ellis starred for one season in FOX's The Grinder and has recurred on FXX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Netflix's Santa Clarita Diet and FOX's The Cool Kids. Newsome stars in the upcoming third season of IFC's Brockmire and recently book a role on the Pop comedy pilot Ride or Die. Whitley starred for five seasons in Freeform's Young & Hungry. Elyse starred in the go90 series Snatchers. Quinn's guest credits include NBC's Law & Order: SVU and AMC's Better Call Saul.
  • Ellis and Newsome will play Liz and Phoebe, respectively. They are two former teen moms who worked their asses off to see their daughters all the way through high school graduation. And now at 35, they're ready to make up for the youth they never had.
  • Whitley will play Edna, Phoebe's mother.
  • Elyse will Angela, Phoebe's daughter.
  • Quinn will play Grace, Liz's daughter.
ABC's UNTITLED HANNAH SIMONE PROJECT
  • Jane Leeves has been cast on the comedy pilot written by and starring Hannah Simone. She previously starred for eleven seasons in NBC's Frasier and six seasons in TV Land's Hot in Cleveland. She currently stars in the second season of FOX's The Resident.
  • She will play Caroline, Hannah's (Simone) mother, a New Age woman with a fondness for crystals and meditation, the type who really wants to know your sign. She is effusive, warm, a bit batty and flamboyant, but well-meaning. She stuns her grown children by announcing she and Sid are divorcing and she has fallen in love with someone new - herself.
THE CW's KATY KEENE
  • Camille Hyde and Lucien Laviscount have landed series regular roles on the drama pilot based on Archie Comics characters. Hyde recurred on the first season of Netflix's American Vandal. Laviscount starred for one season in FOX's Scream Queens and two seasons in Sony Crackle's Snatch.
  • Hyde will play Alexandra Cabot, a powerful, savvy and chic New York socialite who is an SVP at her father's company.Both respected and feared, she is competitive with her brother, who has a very different vision for the record label.
  • Laviscount will play Alexander Cabot, Alexandra's brother and the CEO of his father's company who dreams of rebooting its dormant record label division, which attracts him to Josie (Ashleigh Murray). He's cut from a different cloth than his billionaire family, as he'd rather take the subway and listen to vinyl, and he secretly DJs at a dive club.
