Freeform Orders 'Party of Five' Reboot to Series

Freeform has today given a series order to a reboot of the original drama series Party of Five. The first season of the new drama will produce 10 episodes. A premiere date window was not immediately announced today.






Based on the FOX drama that aired from 1994-200, the new drama follows the five Acosta children as they struggle to survive together as a family after their parents are deported to Mexico.

Brandon Larracuente, Emily Tosta, Niko Guardado and Elle Paris Legaspi star.

Original series creators Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman co-wrote the pilot with Michal Zebede. They will all executive produce with pilot director Rodrigo Garcia. Sony Pictures Television will produce.
