FX's 'Legion' to End After 3 Seasons

During its presentation at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, FX announced that the original drama series Legion will be coming to an end after three seasons. The final episodes will debut in Summer 2019.

The drama stars Dan Stevens, Rachel Keller, Aubrey Plaza, Bill Irwin, Navid Negahban, Jemaine Clement, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder, Hamish Linklater and Jean Smart.

Noah Hawley developed the drama based on characters from Marvel Comics. He executive produces with John Cameron, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Steve Blackman, Jeph Loeb, Jim Chory, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Joe Quesada and Karim Zreik. FX Productions, Marvel Television, Kinberg Genre, The Donners' Company and 26 Keys Productions produce.

During his executive session at the press tour, FX CEO John Landgraf said that Hawley always envisioned the drama with a three-season arc. That means he will stick to the ending that was always planned, with the network's full support.
