CBS Announces Summer Premiere Dates for 'Blood & Treasure,' 'Elementary' and 'Instinct'

CBS has today announced summer premiere dates for three of its scripted series - new drama Blood & Treasure, the final season of Elementary and the second season of Instinct.






New drama Blood & Treasure will debut with a two-hour premiere on Tuesday, May 21 at 9/8c. following the season finale of NCIS. It will settle into its regular time slot on Tuesday, May 28 at 10/9c.

A brilliant antiquities expert and a cunning art thief track a ruthless terrorist who funds his attacks through stolen treasure. As they crisscross the globe hunting their target, they unexpectedly find themselves at the center of a 2,000-year-old battle for the cradle of civilization.

The drama stars Matt Barr, Sofia Pernas, Katia Winter, Michael James Shaw, Mohammed Marouazi, Alicia Coppola and James Callis.

Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia created the drama. They executive produce with showrunner Taylor Elmore, Ben Silverman, Mark Vlasic and director Marc Webb. CBS Television Studios produces.

The seventh and final season of Elementary will premiere on Thursday, May 23 at 10/9c.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson's new careers as consultants for Scotland Yard disrupted by news that a member of their inner circle has been gravely wounded in the United States. As Holmes' stateside legal trouble - the result of a confession to a murder he didn't commit - threatens to keep them from returning to New York, their greatest foe to date, tech billionaire Odin Reichenbach, waits on the horizon to test their limits.

The drama stars Jonny Lee Miller, Lucy Liu, Jon Michael Hill and Aidan Quinn.

Robert Doherty created the drama. He executive produces with Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly, John Coles, John Polson and Jason Tracey. CBS Television Studios, Timberman-Beverly Productions and Hill of Beans Productions produce.

The second season of Instinct will launch on Sunday, June 16 at 9/8c.

NYPD consultant Dylan Reinhart is reinstated after being put on leave, just in time to join his partner, NYPD detective Lizzie Needham, on their new case tracking the "Sleeping Beauty Killer."

The drama stars Alan Cumming, Bojana Novakovic, Daniel Ings, Naveen Andrews and Sharon Leal.

Michael Rauch created the drama. He executive produces with Cumming, Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, Leopoldo Gout and Marc Webb. CBS Television Studios, James Patterson Entertainment and Secret Hideout produce.
