NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC's BARKSKINS
- Christian Cooke and James Bloor have been cast on the upcoming drama starring David Thewlis. Cooke previously starred for two seasons in Starz's Magic City, one season in Lifetime's Witches of East End, two seasons in Crackle's The Art of More and in Amazon's limited series Ordeal by Innocence. Bloor appeared in the 2017 film Dunkirk.
- Cooke will play René Sel, a strong-willed, morally sound indentured servant, signed to Monsieur Claude Trepagny (Thewlis), a wealthy landowner with grand visions for New France.
- Bloor will play Charles Duquet, a scrappy, industrious scoundrel, also signed to servitude under Trepagny.
HULU's WU-TANG: AN AMERICAN SAGA
- Ebony Obsidian has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama based on the Wu-Tang Clan. She was also recently cast in Amazon's upcoming drama The Hunt and appeared in the 2018 film If Beale Street Could Talk.
- She will play Nia, Divine's (Julian Elijah Martinez) girlfriend who turned a blind eye to his drug dealing. But his recent encounters may be the thing that pushes her and their relationship past the breaking point.
STARZ's P-VALLEY
- Isaiah Washington has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Brandee Evans and Nicco Annan. He previously starred for three seasons in ABC's Grey's Anatomy and five seasons in The CW's The 100. He also recurred on Starz's Survivor's Remorse.
- He will play Mayor Tydell Ruffin, the newly elected mayor of Chucalissa City and a true man of the people. Born onto hard-scrabble streets, he is a relatable and crass bawse. He's determined to make good on his campaign promise of a Chucalissa renaissance by any means necessary.
