  • Josh Pence and Emma Hunton have been promoted to series regulars for the drama's upcoming second season. Both actors heavily recurred on the drama's first season.
  • Pence plays Dennis, an old millennial who is less addicted to his devices. He's the oldest tenant at the Coterie and has a mild case of arrested development. In the season finale, he checked himself into the hospital for a 48-hour hold to deal with his depression.
  • Hunton plays Davia, a body-positive influencer and teacher. She is extremely passionate about helping her disadvantaged students succeed. In the season finale, her long-distance lover Jeff shows up to tell her he has left his wife.

Cho starred in the second season of FOX's The Exorcist and recently earned raves for his performance in the film Searching. Shakir starred in the second season of Netflix's Luke Cage. Pineda stars in Netflix's upcoming anthology series What/If opposite Renée Zellweger. Hassell starred in the BBC One limited series The Miniaturist. Moreover, Alex Garcia Lopez has signed on to direct the first two episodes.
  • Cho will play Spike Spiegel, an impossibly cool "cowboy" (bounty hunter) with a deadly smile, a wry wit, and style to spare. He travels the solar system with his ex-cop partner, Jet, pursuing the future's most dangerous bounties with a combination of charm, charisma and deadly Jeet Kune Do.
  • Shakir will play Jet Black, one of the few honest cops in the solar system before an ultimate betrayal robbed him of all that he loved, forcing him into a vagabond life of hunting bounties to put food on the table. He is an inveterate jazz enthusiast and Captain of the Bebop.
  • Pineda will play Faye Valentine, a bold, brash and unpredictable bounty hunter. Suffering from amnesia after years of being cryogenically frozen, she does whatever it takes to survive. Whether she's lying, stealing or just being a thorn in Spike and Jet's side.
  • Hassell will play Vicious, a man who thoroughly enjoys a good kill. He is the Syndicate's most notorious hitman. He's also Spike's ex-partner and arch-enemy.
  • Julia Jones and Leslie Grossman have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming third season. Jones has previously recurred on Netflix's Longmire and HBO's Westworld. Grossman starred for two seasons in FX's American Horror Story and has recurred on NBC's The Good Place.

Field starred in Paramount's one-season Heathers reboot. She next stars in Pop's upcoming comedy Florida Girls. Apanowicz has previously recurred on Syfy's Continuum and Netflix's Travelers.
  • Field will play Sunrise, a stay at home mommy blogger who raises a toddler with her partner Lucy in their gorgeous Venice Beach home. A new age wellness aficionado who's monetized her interests with a popular Instagram, she's the cheerleader of her friend circle.
  • Apanowicz will play Sandy, a woman from Joe's (Penn Badgley) past with an infectious smile and restless spirit. She has been beaten up by life.
