ABC Renews 'American Housewife,' 'Bless This Mess,' 'Fresh Off the Boat,' 'The Rookie' and 'Single Parents'

ABC has today handed out renewals to American Housewife, Bless This Mess, Fresh Off the Boat, The Rookie and Single Parents. The five shows will all air during the network's 2019-20 schedule.






American Housewife stars Katy Mixon, Diedrich Bader, Meg Donnelly, Daniel DiMaggio, Julia Butters, Ali Wong and Carly Hughes.

Sarah Dunn created the comedy. She executive produces with Aaron Kaplan, Kenny Schwartz and Rick Wiener. ABC Studios and Kapital Entertainment produce.

The renewal is for the comedy's fourth season.

Bless This Mess stars Lake Bell, Dax Shepard, JT Neal, Pam Grier and Ed Begley Jr.

Bell co-created the comedy with Elizabeth Meriwether. They executive produce with Shepard, Jake Kasdan, Erin O'Malley, Melvin Mar and Katherine Pope. 20th Century Fox Television, ABC Studios, Lake Bell Productions and Elizabeth Meriwether Pictures produce.

The renewal is for the comedy's second season.

Fresh Off the Boat stars Randall Park, Constance Wu, Hudson Yang, Ian Chen, Forrest Wheeler, Lucille Soong, Chelsey Crisp and Ray Wise.

Nahnatchka Khan created the comedy. She executive produces with Jake Kasdan and Melvin Mar. 20th Century Fox Television, The Detective Agency and Fierce Baby Productions produce.

The renewal is for the comedy's sixth season.

The Rookie stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Titus Makin, Mercedes Mason, Melissa O'Neil, Afton Williamson and Eric Winter.

Alexi Hawley created the drama. He executive produces with Fillion, Mark Gordon, Nicholas Pepper, Michelle Chapman, Jon Steinberg, Bill Norcross and Liz Friedlander. ABC Studios, Entertainment One and Perfectman Pictures produce.

The renewal is for the drama's second season.

Single Parents stars Taran Killam, Leighton Meester, Kimrie Lewis, Jake Choi, Marlow Barkley, Tyler Wladis, Devin Trey Campbell, Mia Allan, Ella Allan and Brad Garrett.

Elizabeth Meriwether and J.J. Philbin created the comedy. They executive produce with Jason Winer and Katherine Pope. 20th Century Fox Television, ABC Studios, Elizabeth Meriwether Pictures and J.J. Philbin Productions produce.

The renewal is for the comedy's second season.
