Casting News - Holly Hunter Joins HBO's 'Succession'; Kingsley Ben-Adir to Recur on Hulu's 'High Fidelity' Reboot

Casting News - May 21, 2019

HBO's Succession and Hulu's High Fidelity.

HBO's SUCCESSION
  • Holly Hunter has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. She won an Academy Award for the 1993 film The Piano. She has received additional Oscar nominations for Broadcast News, The Firm and Thirteen. She is a two-time Emmy winner for the TV movies Roe vs. Wade on NBC and The Positively True Adventures of the Alleged Texas Cheerleader-Murdering Mom on HBO. She also starred for three seasons in TNT's Saving Grace, one season in SundanceTV's Top of the Lake and one season in HBO's Here and Now.
  • She will play Rhea Jarrell, the politically savvy CEO of a rival media conglomerate.
HULU's HIGH FIDELITY
  • Kingsley Ben-Adir has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Zoë Kravitz. He previously starred for four seasons in ITV's Vera and one season in Netflix's The OA.
  • He will play Russell "Mac" McCormack. He's charming, worldly, intelligent - though not at all pretentious - and was Rob's (Kravitz) most serious boyfriend. Everything seemed to be great, then one day he moved to London, and a year later Rob is still getting over it. But Mac may not be gone from her life for good.
