FX has today announced that the current fourth season of the original comedy series Baskets will be its last. The comedy will air its series finale on Thursday, August 22.
The comedy stars Zach Galifianakis, Martha Kelly and Louie Anderson.
Galifianakis executive produces with showrunner Jonathan Krisel, Marc Gurvitz and Andrea Pett-Joseph. FX Productions and Brillstein Entertainment Partners produce.
"Over four seasons, Baskets has taken its place among the great FX comedies as an endearing and hilarious look at the dreams and ambition of Chip Baskets and his extended, loving family," said Eric Schrier, President, FX Entertainment.
