CBS All Access' Tell Me a Story; Epix's Get Shorty; HBO's The Third Day; NBC's Manifest, New Amsterdam & Superstore; and Netflix's Firefly Lane & The Haunting of Bly Manor.




NETFLIX's THE HAUNTING OF BLY MANOR
  • Henry Thomas is returning to the anthology series for its upcoming second installment. He starred in the first season, The Haunting of Hill House, and will play a new character in the upcoming season. Fellow Hill House stars Victoria Pedretti and Oliver Jackson-Cohen previously signed on to return for Bly Manor.
  • No details were immediately released about the new character Thomas will be playing.
NETFLIX's FIREFLY LANE
  • Beau Garrett will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke. She previously starred for five seasons in Bravo's Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce and one season in ABC's The Good Doctor.
  • She will play Cloud, a charismatic and fun-loving single mother raising her teenage daughter Tully in the 1970s. Tully takes care of the household duties while flower child Cloud smokes weed and hangs out with her drug dealing boyfriend, using her free-spirited hippie ethos to numb the pain of a traumatic past.
NBC's MANIFEST
  • Andrene Ward-Hammond and Ellen Tamaki have booked recurring roles on the drama's upcoming second season. Ward-Hammond previously recurred on FOX's Star and TNT's Claws. Tamaki starred in the first season of The CW's Charmed.
  • Ward-Hammond will play Kate Bowers, the newly appointed captain of Michaela's (Melissa Roxburgh) precinct. From a long line of cops, she's direct, by the book and doesn't suffer fools.
  • Tamaki will play Drea Mikami, the bright and confident detective Bowers assigns as Michaela's new partner.
NBC's NEW AMSTERDAM
  • Ana Villafañe and Ian Duff have landed recurring roles on the drama's upcoming second season. Villafañe originated the role of pop icon Gloria Estefan in the Broadway musical On Your Feet. Duff is a relative newcomer who previous guest starred on Showtime's Homeland.
  • Villafañe will play Dr. Valentina Castro, Max's (Ryan Eggold) new oncologist. Young, whip-smart and enthusiastic, she also has a history with Helen (Freema Agyeman), who let her go from the hospital several years ago.
  • Duff will play Michael Duke, Floyd's (Jocko Sims) new intern, who has innate gifts when it comes to surgery but still has a lot to learn when it comes to being a good doctor.
HBO's THE THIRD DAY
  • Naomie Harris will play the female lead on the upcoming limited series starring Jude Law. She received an Academy Award nomination in 2016 for Moonlight. She also stars in the James Bond films Skyfall, Spectre and No Time to Die.
  • She will play Helen, a strong-willed outsider who comes to the island seeking answers, but whose arrival precipitates a fractious battle to decide its fate.
EPIX's GET SHORTY
  • Joe Minoso has been added to the dramedy's upcoming third season in a recurring role. He currently stars in NBC's Chicago Fire, which returns for its eighth season next month.
  • He will play Hector, a Capotillo gang leader who controls crime in Los Angeles.
NBC's SUPERSTORE
  • Justina Machado and Heidi Gardner are set for recurring roles on the comedy's upcoming fifth season. Machado currently stars in One Day at a Time, which returns for its fourth season (its first on cable network Pop) in 2020. Gardner joined the cast of NBC's Saturday Night Live in 2017 and is expected to return for its 45th season this fall.
  • Machado will play Maya, the new district manager who has a surprising connection to Amy (America Ferrera).
  • Gardner will play Colleen, Dina's (Lauren Ash) nemesis. She is transferred to Store 1217 after the Bel-Ridge location gets shut down - and Dina is not happy about it.
CBS ALL ACCESS' TELL ME A STORY
  • Garcelle Beauvais has been cast in a recurring role on the anthology drama's upcoming second installment. She previously starred for five seasons in The WB's The Jamie Foxx Show and four seasons in ABC's NYPD Blue. She has also recurred on Syfy's The Magicians, E!'s The Arrangement and Freeform's Siren. She will next be seen in a recurring role on Netflix's Merry Happy Whatever.
  • She will play Veronica Garland, a steely, put-together socialite and businesswoman whose beauty, cunning and drive form an intimidating package. After marrying widower Frank Garland, she craftily displaced by Frank's daughter, Simone (Ashley Madekwe), as the woman of the house, creating bad blood between the two. She is so protective of her status in the family and of her two sons, Ron (Caleb Castille) and Derek (Christopher Meyer), that one is left to wonder: just how far will she go to maintain her standing?
