During the forthcoming streaming service's debut presentation today, HBO Max announced a series order for the original comedy series College Girls created by Mindy Kaling. The first season will feature 13 episodes.
The comedy follows three 18-year-old freshman roommates at Evermore College in Vermont. A bundle of contradictions and hormones, these sexually active college girls are equal parts lovable and infuriating.
Kaling will serve as showrunner for the first season. She will executive produce with Howard Klein. Warner Bros. Television, Kaling International and 3 Arts Entertainment will produce.
