During the drama's panel at New York Comic-Con, CBS All Access announced the premiere date for the upcoming original drama series Star Trek: Picard featuring Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic character.
The first season will launch on Thursday, January 23.
The new drama follows the next chapter of Captain Jean-Luc Picard's (Stewart) life.
The cast also features Michelle Hurd, Santiago Cabrera, Evan Evagora, Isa Briones, Alison Pill and Harry Treadaway.
Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan, Jonathan Del Arco, Marina Sirtis and Jonathan Frakes will also recur throughout the first season, reprising their previous Star Trek roles.
Alex Kurtzman developed the drama, with Michael Chabon serving as showrunner. They executive produce with Stewart, James Duff, Akiva Goldsman, Kirsten Beyer, Heather Kadin, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth and director Hanelle M. Culpepper. CBS Television Studios, Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment produce.
