ABC NEW PILOT ORDERS
  • THE BRIDES (Drama) - Written by Riverdale and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. Directed by Maggie Kiley. Executive produced by Aguirre-Sacasa, Kiley, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter. Produced by ABC Studios, Warner Bros. Television and Berlanti Productions. Logline: A sexy contemporary reimagining of Dracula, the vampire soap centers on a trio of empowered, immortal women and the things they do to maintain wealth, prestige, legacy - and their nontraditional family.
  • THIRTYSOMETHING(ELSE) (Drama) - Sequel series to ABC's Thirtysomething, which originally aired from 1987-91. Written and executive produced by original series creators Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick, with the latter also set to direct. Produced by MGM Television, ABC Studios and Bedford Falls Productions. Original series stars Ken Olin, Mel Harris, Timothy Busfield and Patricia Wettig are set to reprise their roles. Logline: The new drama will follow the children of the main characters from the initial series, who are now in their 30s themselves.
