ABC Sets Premiere Date for 'The Baker and the Beauty'; Unveils Series Finale Dates for 'Modern Family' and 'How to Get Away With Murder'

During its presentation at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, ABC announced the premiere date for the upcoming original drama series The Baker and the Beauty. The broadcast network has also set series finale dates for Modern Family and How to Get Away With Murder as well as new time slots for American Housewife and Shark Tank.




New drama The Baker and the Beauty will premiere on Monday, April 6 at 10/9c. - filling the time slot currently held by The Good Doctor, which will once again wrap its current season in March.

The drama stars Victor Rasuk, Nathalie Kelley, Carlos Gomez, Dan Bucatinsky, Lisa Vidal, David Del Rio, Belissa Escobedo and Michelle Veintimilla.

Dean Georgaris created the drama. He executive produces with Becky Hartman Edwards, Jim Chory, Steve Pearlman, Assi Azar, Avi Nir, ALon Shtruzman, Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan. Universal Television, ABC Studios and Keshet Studios produce.

The Emmy Award-winning comedy Modern Family will finish its run after eleven seasons on Wednesday, April 8 at 9/8c. Meanwhile, the Emmy Award-winning drama How to Get Away With Murder will wrap its six-season run on Thursday, May 14 at 10/9c.

And finally, Shark Tank will be making a return to Friday nights - starting on February 28 airing in the 8/7c. time slot. The move will displace the current fourth season of American Housewife, which will be moving back to the Wednesday comedy lineup - first at 9:30/8:30c. starting on March 18 before moving to 9/8c. starting on April 15.
