Casting News - Elliot Fletcher Joins 'Y: The Last Man'; 'The Baby-Sitters Club' Sets Young Cast; Plus 1 More Update!

Casting News - March 12, 2020

The CW's Walker; FX's Y: The Last Man; and Showtime's The Baby-Sitters Club.

THE CW's WALKER
  • Violet Brinson and Kale Culley have been cast as series regulars on the upcoming drama starring Jared Padalecki and Lindsey Morgan. Brinson previously recurred on HBO's Sharp Objects. Culley has recurred on ABC's Black-ish and Nickelodeon's Henry Danger.
  • Brinson will play Stella Walker. Sixteen years old, insolent and riding an emotional rollercoaster, she is Walker's (Padalecki) teenage daughter. Headstrong and smart as hell, she resents her dad for being absent - and she's not about to forgive him anytime soon. Her unrest leads her to ask questions Walker isn't ready to answer.
  • Culley will play Arlo Walker. Fourteen years old, sweet, sincere and quietly smart, he is Walker's son. He rabidly consumes information and is eager to learn any skill that will help, please and impress his family. Unlike his sister, he doesn't want to cause a stir. In other words, a time bomb.
FX's Y: THE LAST MAN
  • Elliot Fletcher is set as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Ben Schnetzer and Diane Lane. He has previously recurred on MTV's Faking It, Freeform's The Fosters and Showtime's Shameless.
  • He will play Sam Jordan, Yorick Brown's (Schnetzer) best friend and enabler. His background (he grew up in poverty with absent parents), has made him resourceful and resilient in a world where surviving men are greeted with suspicion or worse. Street smart but occasionally self-destructive, he is wry and funny with a big heart.
NETFLIX's THE BABY-SITTERS CLUB
  • Sophie Grace, Malia Baker, Momona Tamada, Shay Rudolph and Xochitl Gomez will play the young leads in the upcoming adaptation of the popular book series.
  • The series follows the friendship and adventures of Kristy Thomas (Grace), Mary-Anne Spier (Baker), Claudia Kishi (Tamada), Stacey McGill (Rudolph) and Dawn Schafer (Gomez) as the middle-schoolers start their babysitting business in the town of Stoneybrook, Connecticut.
