Starz has today announced that the original drama series The Rook has been cancelled after one season. The 8-episode first and only season finished on August 18, 2019.The drama starred Emma Greenwell, Joely Richardson, Adrian Lester, Ronan Raftery, Catherine Steadman, Jon Fletcher and Olivia Munn.
Sam Holcroft and Al Muriel developed the drama, while Lisa Zwerling and Karyn Usher served as showrunners. They executive produced with Stephen Garrett and director Kari Skogland. Lionsgate Television, Liberty Global, Carpool Entertainment and Character 7 produced.
