BET Renews 'Twenties' for Season 2

BET has renewed its original comedy series Twenties for a second season, it was announced today. An episode count and premiere date window were not immediately announced.






The comedy stars Jonica T. Gibbs, Christina Elmore, Gabrielle Graham and Sophina Brown.

Lena Waithe created the comedy. She executive produces with showrunner Susan Fales-Hill, Rishi Rajani, Andrew Coles and director Justin Tipping. Hillman Grad Productions produce.

"The first season of Twenties, led by the incredible Jonica T. Gibbs, Christina Elmore and Gabrielle Graham, was a joy to watch in every sense," said Scott Mills, President of BET. "BET Has always been about empowering and elevating black stories and we're so excited to see where Lena Waithe and Susan Fales-Hill's remarkable vision takes us in the second season."
