Drama 'Debris' Starring Jonathan Tucker and Riann Steele Ordered to Series at NBC

NBC has confirmed today that one of its pilots from the recent development cycle has received a series order for the upcoming year - drama Debris starring Jonathan Tucker and Riann Steele.

Two agents from two different continents - and with two different mindsets - must work together to investigate when wreckage from a destroyed alien spacecraft has mysterious effects on humankind.

J.H. Wyman wrote the pilot. He executive produces with Jason Hoffs. Universal Television, Legendary Television and Frequency Films produce.

The drama was one of the few pilots to have begun production before the entertainment industry shutdown in mid-March due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. It is only the second new drama ordered for NBC's upcoming 2020-21 schedule - joining the Christopher Meloni-led Law & Order: SVU spinoff. The network has also given straight-to-series orders to three comedies - Mr. Mayor, Young Rock and Connecting.
