Casting News - Mary McCormack to Co-Star on Starz's 'Heels'; Nathan Stewart-Jarrett Joins HBO Max's 'Generation'

Casting News - August 25, 2020

HBO Max's Generation and Starz's Heels.

  • Mary McCormack will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig. She previously starred for three seasons in NBC's The West Wing, five seasons in USA's In Plain Sight and one season in ABC's The Kids Are Alright.
  • She will play Willie, Jack Spade's (Amell) business partner and logistical brains behind the local wrestling organization. She came up in the glory days as Wild Bill's (Chris Bauer) valet but grew tired of babysitting and left him just as his career took off. His return to the local circuit complicates her life, as does the reflection of her younger self that she sees in Crystal (Kelli Berglund).
  • Nathan Stewart-Jarrett has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming dramedy starring Justice Smith and Martha Plimpton. He previously starred for four seasons in E4's Misfits and two seasons in Channel 4's Utopia.
  • He will play Sam. Not your typical guidance counselor, his strength lies in his realness. While Sam leads with an "actually I invented the game" attitude, a part of him will always wish he was as bold and fearless as his students.
