Amy Adams and Adam McKay Reunite for Limited Series 'Kings of America' at Netflix

Amy Adams and director Adam McKay are set to reunite for the original limited series Kings of America, which has landed at Netflix today.

The series centers on three powerful women - one played by Adams - whose lives were inextricably intertwined with the world's largest company: Walmart. The story follows a Walmart heiress, a maverick executive and a long-time Walmart saleswoman and preacher who fought against the retail giant in the biggest class action lawsuit in U.S. history.

Jess Kimball Leslie created the series. She will serve as co-showrunner alongside Diana Son, with McKay directing the first episode. They will also executive produce with Adams, Betsy Koch, Stacy O'Neil and Brunson Green. Hyperobject Industries and Bond Group Entertainment will produce.

The project reunites Adams and McKay after they both received Academy Award nominations for the 2018 feature film Vice - Adams for best supporting actress and McKay for best picture, director and original screenplay.
