CBS Announces Post-Super Bowl Premiere for New Drama 'The Equalizer' Starring Queen Latifah

CBS has today announced that the upcoming original drama series The Equalizer starring Queen Latifah has landed the post-Super Bowl slot for its series premiere.






The drama will launch immediately following the broadcast of Super Bowl LV on Sunday, February 7. The drama will make its regular time slot debut on Sunday, February 14 at 8/7c.

A reimagining of the '80s drama, Queen Latifah stars as Robyn McCall, an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn.

The cast also features Chris Noth, Lorraine Toussaint, Tory Kittles, Adam Goldberg, Liza Lapira and Laya DeLeon Hayes.

Andrew Marlowe and Terri Miller created the drama. They executive produce with Queen Latifah, John Davis, John Fox, Debra Martin Chase, Richard Lindheim, Shakim Compere and director Liz Friedlander. CBS Studios, Universal Television, Davis Entertainment, Martin Chase Productions and Flavor Unit produce.
