Casting News - Ebonee Noel to Star in 'The Kings of Napa'; Adepero Oduye Joins 'Five Days at Memorial'; Plus 3 More Updates!

Amazon's The Peripheral; AMC's The Walking Dead: World Beyond; AppleTV+'s Five Days at Memorial; Disney+'s She Hulk; and OWN's The Kings of Napa.

  • Ebonee Noel, Rance Nix, Karen LeBlanc and Yaani King Mondschein have been cast as series regulars on the upcoming drama created by Janine Sherman Barrois. Noel previously starred for two seasons in CBS' FBI. Nix appeared in the short film Zero Issue. LeBlanc starred for two seasons in Netflix's Frontier and two seasons in CBS' Ransom. Mondschein has recurred on OWN's The Haves and the Have Nots, BET's Boomerang and Freeform's Good Trouble.
  • Noel will play August King, the middle King sibling and the family's brilliant marketing whiz. She is passionate about wine and always looking for new ways to expand the business.
  • Nix will play Dana King, August's older brother and the savvy CFO of the winery. He and August often butt heads when it comes to the family business.
  • LeBlanc will play Vanessa King, the matriarch of the King family. She is a former news reporter who gave up her career to help run the winery in Napa. She and her husband Reginald seemingly had a picture-perfect marriage - until she discovered things about his past.
  • Mondschein will play Bridgette Peele, August's cousin and right hand who works as the vineyard manager for King Estate Wines. When secrets threaten to change the family forever, her life turns upside down.
  • Adepero Oduye will co-star on the upcoming limited series starring Vera Farmiga. She is currently starring in Disney+'s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. She previously appeared in the films 12 Years a Slave, The Big Short and Widows.
  • She will play Karen Wynn, the nurse manager of the intensive care unit at Memorial Hospital and the head of its ethics committee.
  • Eli Goree has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Chloë Grace Moretz, Jack Reynor and Gary Carr. He recently played Cassius Clay in the 2020 feature film One Night in Miami. He previously recurred on HBO's Ballers and The CW's Riverdale.
  • He will play Conner. No additional details were immediately released.
  • Renée Elise Goldsberry will appear in the upcoming Marvel drama starring Tatiana Maslany. She won a Tony and Grammy Award in 2016 for her performance in Hamilton on Broadway. She also starred for two seasons in Netflix's Altered Carbon. She next stars in Peacock's upcoming comedy Girls5Eva, which debuts its first season in May.
  • She will play Amelia. No additional details were immediately released.
  • Max Osinski has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He has previously recurred on TNT's The Last Ship and ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
  • He will play Dennis, a once dedicated and disciplined soldier who is now trying to pick up the pieces of his life.
