FOX's OUR KIND OF PEOPLE
- Morris Chestnut has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Yaya DaCosta. He currently stars in FOX's The Resident, having joined the cast as a series regular in its third season. The drama is expected to be renewed soon for a fifth season, with Chestnut returning as a recurring guest star. He also stars in Peacock's upcoming limited series The Best Man: The Final Chapters.
- He will play Raymond Dupont, Leah's husband, a powerful man, raised in wealth, he has "Obama swag and presence." He is a top executive at a food conglomerate, but he has been struggling to revive the company after his white business partner Jack almost tanked the firm through mismanagement. A conscientious father, he is the soft place to land for his daughter. But ignores his son Quincy's ambitions to become a professional basketball player, something that puts him at sad odds with his son.
HBO's HOUSE OF THE DRAGON
- Graham McTavish has joined the cast of the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel starring Paddy Considine, Olivia Cooke and Matt Smith. He previously starred for two seasons in Starz's Outlander and four seasons in AMC's Preacher. He next appears in the second season of Netflix's The Witcher.
- No details were immediately announced about the character he will be playing.
CBS' NCIS: HAWAII
- Noah Mills is set as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Vanessa Lachey. He recently recurred on Disney+'s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. He also starred in the NBC one-season dramas The Brave and The Enemy Within.
- He will play Jesse, a former big city homicide detective who's settled in a new life in Hawaii. An expert interrogator with a knack for good old fashioned police work, he is also a devoted family man who runs 4-H camping trips for his kid. He knows every nook and cranny of the island's hiking trails. He's worked with Tennant (Lachey) the longest and is her lieutenant and sometimes confidant.
