NBC Cancels 'Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist' After 2 Seasons

NBC has today announced the cancellation of its original musical dramedy Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist after two seasons. Moreover, Peacock - which streams the series - has also opted against picking up the show for another season.





The dramedy starred Jane Levy, Skylar Astin, Alex Newell, John Clarence Stewart, Andrew Leeds, Alice Lee, Michael Thomas Grant, Kapil Talwalkar and Mary Steenburgen.

Austin Winsberg created the series. He executive produced with Paul Feig, Kim Tannenbaum, Eric Tannenbaum, David Blackman, Daniel Inkeles and Sam Laybourne. Universal Television, Lionsgate Television, Feigco Entertainment, PolyGram Entertainment and The Tannenbaum Company produced.

Lionsgate is currently mounting an aggressive effort to find a new home for the show outside NBCUniversal.
