Casting News - Christine Adams Books Recurring Role on 'Ordinary Joe'; 'Big Sky' Casts Logan Marshall-Green; Plus 2 More Updates!

ABC's Big Sky; FOX's The Resident; NBC's Ordinary Joe; and Paramount+'s 1883.

  • Logan Marshall-Green has been cast as a new series regular on the drama's upcoming second season. He previously starred in Cinemax's one-season drama Quarry and USA's one-season drama Damnation.
  • He will play Travis, an old friend of Jenny (Katheryn Winnick) and her late husband Cody (Ryan Phillippe. He has been working undercover on a local drug ring for long enough that the line between Travis and his undercover alias Stone has begun to blur. He will cross paths with Jenny, whose new case overlaps with his undercover work. While Travis and Jenny will try to keep their relationship professional, they have a shared history as well as unresolved feelings that will make their partnership both difficult and dangerous.
  • Christine Adams and Joe Carroll have booked recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring James Wolk. Adams previously starred for four seasons in The CW's Black Lightning. Carroll was recently cast in a recurring role on AppleTV+'s upcoming limited series Five Days at Memorial.
  • Adams will play Regina Diaz, Bobby's (Adam Rodriguez) supportive wife. Smart, ambitious and formidable, she might have had a different path before her husband became an elected politician.
  • Carroll will play Ray, Jenny's (Elizabeth Lail) husband. His life changes when Cop Joe (Wolk) reenters Jenny's orbit.
  • Isabel May and LaMonica Garrett have joined the cast of the upcoming Yellowstone prequel starring Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. May previously starred for three seasons in Netflix's Alexa & Katie. Garrett starred for two seasons in ABC's Designated Survivor.
  • May will play Elsa, the eldest daughter of John (McGraw) and Margaret Dutton (Hill). Through her eyes will come much of the perspective of the family's struggle when they up and leave Texas aboard a wagon train caravan into hostile territory toward a better life in Montana.
  • Garrett will play the right hand of Pinkerton agent Shea Brennan (Elliott), who hitches a ride with the Duttons.
  • Stephen Wallem has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fifth season. He previously starred for two seasons in Showtime's Nurse Jackie and has recently recurred on NBC's Law & Order: SVU.
  • He will play Winston Robards, a gentle and kind legally blind man who is brought to the hospital after being involved in a car accident. He relies on a cane to get around and isn't afraid to move about an unfamiliar space. He does his best to remain patient, but wanders off towards danger.
