Paramount+ Announces Premiere Date for New Dramedy 'Guilty Party' Starring Kate Beckinsale

Paramount+ has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original dramedy series Guilty Party starring Kate Beckinsale.

The 10-episode first season will launch on Thursday, October 14.

The series follows discredited journalist Beth Burgess (Beckinsale) as she attempts to salvage her career by helping a young mother, Toni Plimpton, who has been sentenced to life in prison for maiming and murdering her husband - crimes she says she didn't commit. Beth also finds herself in over her head as she faces Colorado gun-smugglers, clickbait culture, the doldrums of marriage and her own tarnished past.

In addition to Beckinsale, the series stars Jules Latimer, Geoff Stults, Alanna Ubach, Laurie Davidson, Andre Hyland and Tiya Sircar.

Rebecca Addelman created the series. She executive produces with Beckinsale, Jimmy Miller, Sam Hansen, Joe Farrell, Jim Ziegler, Mike Farah and director Trent O'Donnell. Becca Kinskey and Whitney Hodack are co-executive producers. CBS Studios, Funny or Die and Mosaic produce.
