The 10-episode season - the first produced for Paramount+ and the tenth overall - will premiere on Thursday, November 11.
Set in Las Vegas, the revival will be a modern-day examination of Black culture through the prism of pro football. The team will tackle racism, sexism, classism and more as they fight for fame, fortune, respect and love - all while trying to maintain their souls as they each play the game.
Returning cast members include Wendy Raquel Robinson, Hosea Chanchez, Brittany Daniel, Pooch Hall and Coby Bell.
New cast additions include Adriyan Rae, Vaughn Hebron, Analisa Velez, Toby Sandeman and Tim Daly.
Devon Greggory serves as showrunner on the revival. He executive produces with Mara Brock Akil, Salim Akil, Kelsey Grammer and Tom Russo. CBS Studios, Akil Productions and Grammnet Productions produce.
