CBS' SMALLWOOD
- Julie White will co-star on the upcoming comedy starring Pete Holmes. She previously starred in the Transformers film franchise. She has also recurred on Showtime's Nurse Jackie and Netflix's Designated Survivor.
- She will play Helen Smallwood, Tom's (Holmes) outspoken mother who raised him on her own, working two jobs to make ends meet. Ever since her husband died 30 years ago, she's been frozen in time - going to the same places, making the same tuna casserole and drinking the same beer.
APPLE TV+'s WOOL
- Harriet Walter, Avi Nash and Chinaza Uche have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Robbins, Rashida Jones and David Oyelowo. Walter starred in the third season of BBC America's Killing Eve and recurs on HBO's Succession. Nash previously starred for two seasons in AMC's The Walking Dead. Uche recurs on AppleTV+'s Dickinson, which returns for its third and final season on Friday.
- Walter will play Martha Walker, a veteran engineer who works in Mechanical.
- Nash will play Lukas Kyle, an IT worker who rises to prominence after meeting Juliette (Ferguson).
- Uche will play Paul Billings, part of the team in the Judicial department.
NBC's LAW & ORDER
- Jeffrey Donovan will star in the drama's upcoming revival for its 21st season. He previously starred for seven seasons in USA's Burn Notice and two seasons in Hulu's Shut Eye. He also recurred on the second season of FX's Fargo.
- No details were immediately announced about the character he will be playing. He is the first actor officially cast on the revival, though it's rumored the studio is in talks with several alums of the drama to return.
