AMC Announces Premiere Date for New Drama '61st Street' Starring Courtney B. Vance

AMC has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series 61st Street starring Emmy Award winner Courtney B. Vance (The People v. O.J. Simpson, Lovecraft Country).






The first season will begin on Sunday, April 10 at 10/9c.

The propulsive thriller courses through the dark heart of the infamous Chicago criminal justice system as police and prosecutors investigate a deadly drug bust that threatens to unravel the police department's code of silence.

In addition to Vance, the drama stars Aunjanue Ellis, Mark O'Brien, Holt McCallany, Tosin Cole, Andrene Ward-Hammond and Bentley Green.

Peter Moffat created the drama. He executive produces with Michael B. Jordan, David Shanks, Elizabeth Raposo, Alana Mayo, Jeff Freilich and Hilary Salmon. AMC Studios and Outlier Society Productions produce.
