ABC Renews 'Abbott Elementary' for Season 2

ABC has today renewed its original comedy series Abbott Elementary for a second season. The renewal marks the first comedy pickup the broadcast network has made for its upcoming 2022-23 schedule.

The comedy stars Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti and Sheryl Lee Ralph.

Brunson created the comedy. She executive produces with Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker. Warner Bros. Television and 20th Television produce.
