NBC's FOUND
- Shanola Hampton will star in and produce the drama pilot written by Nkechi Okoro Carroll. She previously starred for eleven seasons in Showtime's Shameless. This marks her second lead role in a NBC drama pilot this year - following Dangerous Moms, which shot last year and wasn't ordered to series.
- In any given year, more than 600,000 people are reported missing in the United States. More than half that number are people of color that the country seems to forget about. Public relations specialist Gabi Mosley (Hampton) - who was once herself one of those forgotten ones - and her crisis management team make sure there is always someone looking out for the forgotten missing people. But unbeknownst to anyone, this everyday hero is hiding a chilling secret of her own.
CBS' CAL FIRE
- Billy Burke and Kevin Alejandro will co-star on the drama pilot starring Max Thieriot. Burke previously starred for three seasons in CBS' Zoo and in the Netflix limited series Maid. Alejandro starred for six seasons in FOX/Netflix's Lucifer.
- Burke will play Vince, Bode's (Thieriot) father. A lovable pessimist, he is third generation Cal Fire and the fire chief of the community of Middletown. A strong man who has fought many fires in his time, he is not about to give up and give in when a fire threatens to sweep into his town.
- Alejandro will play Manny, a proud father and fire captain in charge of prison inmates when they are on the fire line. He has the hard-earned wisdom of a man whose life was spiraling out of control before he turned it around. He sees potential in Bode, that is, until he catches wind of his big secret.
