  • Sope Aluko has been cast as a series regular on the comedy pilot written by and starring Opeyemi "Opey" Olagbaju and Biniam Bizuneh. She previously appeared in the 2018 film Black Panther. She also guest starred on Starz's Counterpart and The CW's Legacies.
  • She will play Tolu, a doting mother and devout Christian who is very protective of her two kids. She is focused on her children achieving the American dream she and her late husband had hoped for them by emigrating.
NBC's THE IRRATIONAL
  • The Flash star Jesse L. Martin is departing the cast of The CW drama to play the lead role in the drama pilot written by Arika Mittman. He has been a series regular on The Flash for eight seasons and is expected to make several guest appearances in the already-ordered ninth season. He previously starred for nine seasons in NBC's Law & Order.
  • He will play Alec Baker, a world-renowned professor of behavioral psychology with a unique insight into human nature who lends his expertise to an array of high-stakes cases involving governments, corporations and law enforcement. However, he meets his match in a female domestic terror suspect who turns his world upside down.
