HBO Sets Premiere Date for Season 2 of 'Los Espookys'

HBO has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming second season of its original comedy series Los Espookys.

The 6-episode second season will debut on Friday, September 16 at 11/10c.

The new season finds the charismatic Los Espookys leader and gore enthusiast, Renaldo, haunted by the ghost of a beauty pageant queen, while Ursula enlists an old acquaintance to challenge the political status quo. Meanwhile, Uncle Tico is searching for a new purpose after his valet career is derailed.

Returning recurring guest stars include José Pablo Minor, River L. Ramirez, Giannina Fruttero, Carmen Gloria Bresky, Eudora Peterson, Greta Titelman, Spike Einbinder and Sam Taggart.

New guest stars include Martine Gutierrez, Kim Petras, Isabella Rosellini and Yalitza Aparicio.

Fabrega, Torres and Armisen created the bilingual comedy. They executive produce with Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer and Alice Mathias. Nate Young co-executive producers, while Sharon Lopez and Andy Garland produce. Broadway Video, Antigravico and Fabula produce.
