Amazon's 'Carnival Row' to End After 2 Seasons

Amazon has today announced that its original drama series Carnival Row - which debuted back in 2019! - will end with its upcoming second season. A premiere date has also been set on the streamer.






The 10-episode second season will debut on Friday, February 17. New episodes will be released weekly every Friday.

In a fantasy world where humans and creatures clash, the new season picks up with former inspector Rycroft Philostrate aka Philo investigating a series of gruesome murders stoking social tension. Vignette Stonemoss and the Black Raven plot payback for the unjust oppression inflicted by The Burgue's human leaders, Jonah Breakspear and Sophie Longerbane. Tourmaline inherits supernatural powers that threaten her fate and the future of The Row. After escaping The Burgue and her vengeful brother Ezra, Imogen Spurnrose and her partner Agreus Astrayon encounter a radical new society which upends their plans. With humans and fae folk divided and freedom on the line, each hero will face impossible dilemmas and soul-defining tests.

The drama stars Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, Arty Froushan, Caroline Ford, Karla Crome, Andrew Gower, Tamzin Merchant and David Gyasi.

Erik Oleson serves as showrunner. He executive produces with Bloom, Delevingne, Brad Van Arragon, Sarah Byrd, Jimm Dunn, Sam Ernst, Wesley Strick and Travis Beacham. Amazon Studios and Legendary Television produce.
