MGM+ Sets Premiere Dates for Limited Series 'A Spy Among Friends' and Season 2 of 'From'

During the network's presentation at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour today, MGM+ announced premiere dates for its upcoming original limited series A Spy Among Friends as well as the second season return of original drama series From.





The 6-episode limited series A Spy Among Friends will debut on Sunday, March 12 at 9/8c.

Based on the novel by Ben Macintyre, the series dramatizes the true story of two British spies and lifelong friends, Nicholas Elliott and Kim Philby. The latter became the most notorious British defector and Soviet double agent in history. Philby's deeply personal betrayal, uncovered at the height of the Cold War, resulted in the gutting of British and American intelligence.

Damian Lewis, Guy Pearce, Anna Maxwell Martin, Stephen Kunken and Adrian Emondson star.

Alexander Cary developed the series. He executive produces with Lewis, Patrick Spence, Chrissy Skinns, Bob Bookman, Alan Gasmer, Peter Jaysen and director Nick Murphy. Sony Pictures Television, ITV Studios, Veritas Entertainment Group and Ginger Biscuit Entertainment produce.


The second season of From will launch on Sunday, April 23 at 9/8c.

The drama stars Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Shaun Majumder, Corteon Moore, Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Elizabeth Moy and Avery Konrad.

John Griffin created the drama. He executive produces with Jeff Pinkner, Jack Bender, Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Scott Rosenberg, Anthony Russo, Joe Russo and Mike Larocca. Midnight Radio and ABGO produce.
