MGM+ Renews 'Billy the Kid' and 'Rogue Heroes'

During the network's presentation at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour today, MGM+ renewed its original drama series Billy the Kid and Rogue Heroes for second seasons. Production on both shows will resume later this year, with the new seasons likely to debut in 2024.





Season 2 of Billy the Kid continues with Billy and his allies squaring off against his oldest friend Jesse Evans and the corrupt powers of the Santa Fe Ring. When shots are fired, the conflict erupts into the bloody Lincoln County War. Amidst the fight, Billy will struggle to hang onto his soul - and to the love of his life.

The drama stars Tom Blyth, Daniel Webber, Eileen O'Higgins, Sean Owen Roberts, Dakota Daulby, Ryan Kennedy and Ian Tracey.

Michael Hirst created the drama. He executive produces with Donald De Line, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey. Amazon Studios, MGM+ Studios, De Line Pictures and Amblin Television produce.


Rogue Heroes stars Connor Swindells, Alfie Allen, Jack O'Connell, Sofia Boutella, Tom Glynn-Carney, Theo Barklem-Biggs, Amir El Masry, Corin Silva, Jacob Ifan, Dónal Finn, Jacob McCarthy, César Domboy, Michael Schaeffer, Miles Jupp and Dominic West.

Steven Knight created the drama. He executive produces with Tom Shankland, Karen Wilson, Martin Haines, Emma Kingsman-Lloyd and Tommy Bulfin. Kudos Entertainment and Nebulastar Productions produce.

The second season will produce six episodes.
